They're on the DL more than they're in a lineup.Please explain @mysticmac or @Willthiswork

I'm sure all the teams are doing it to some degree, but the Astros got caught. MLB will probably come down hard to set an example. The Astros cheated.
With players switching teams so often this will work itself out. Players will get free agent contracts just to tell on how their former team was doing it.I'm sure all the teams are doing it to some degree, but the Astros got caught. MLB will probably come down hard to set an example.
As technology advances, policing this shit will become even more difficult.
Plus he is use to being on suck teams so he wont complain about losing so much. Not sure why they paid him so much.Reds signed Mike Moustakas. 4 yr deal.
He should be good for 30+ HRs with half his games being played at GABP.
I like it. They needed a left handed bat with power. I'm assuming they intend to put him at 2nd.
30+ bombs from a middle infielder.Plus he is use to being on suck teams so he wont complain about losing so much. Not sure why they paid him so much.
Moose seems like a good guy. He is the Anti-Joey Votto30+ bombs from a middle infielder.
Suarez was the only real HR threat on the team. This gives them one from each side of the plate. I like it. I could care less about the money - it isn't mine.
9 years? Wow.Uh oh
Even I'm gonna admit this is problematic for everyone
Sources: Cole to join Yankees for 9 years, $324M

Its always a great move to sign a un proven player to a big contract. The White Sox just signed outfielder Luis Robert, a dude with 0 major league experience, to a 6 year / $50 million contract. They added 2 years of club options onto the deal - so essentially they have control over him until 2027
I actually like the move. If they are positive he's legit, why fuck around with service time and have him start the season in the minors?
Robert's minor league slash last year (he's 22 years old):
.328 / .376 / .624
In 122 games he hit 32 HRs, 31 Doubles, 11 Triples and stole 36 bases.
Looks legit. Hits for average, power and has plenty of speed. Definitely a guy to keep your eye on.
With the addition of Dallas Keuchel, Yasmani Grandal and Edwin Encarnacion - the White Sox have some interesting things going on for 2020
