Cynical and too opinionated and absolute to be true. Seems to be a puff piece for looking down on hipsters and anybody who might not be ruthless in business. Here's a truth for anybody who's actually worked in the corporate world, most of the people who work for companies aren't sharks, they are people who graduated college and got an offer from placement services. As with anything, truth is in the middle. You can jerk your way to the top and end up like Julius Caesar or be a benefactor like Bill Gates.
The hippies were right, nobody is going to give you a job or call you up to tell you where a job might be if they don't like you. Connections are made by people who dig you, not just what they can get from you. It's who you know and who WANTS to know you.
