A.J. McKee is looking to make it a perfect 10 when he competes in Ireland for the first time later this year.

On Wednesday, Bellator announced that the undefeated 22-year-old featherweight will take on Jeremy Petley (11-8-1) in the co-main event of Bellator 187at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, on Nov. 10.

McKee, the son of 37-fight veteran Antonio McKee, is undefeated in nine pro bouts, all of which have taken place inside the Bellator cage. He’s already fought three times in 2017, including a spectacular head kick knockout of Dominic Mazotta back in April.

The California native has recently been involved in a war of words with Irish star James Gallagher, who just so happens to be competing in the Bellator 187 main event against Jeremiah Labiano.

Petley enters the bout on a 1-4 slump, though he is 1-0 for Bellator, having defeated Chase Morton by unanimous decision in his debut for the promotion this past May. Originally from Canada, Petley fights out of London, England and he has spent his entire professional career competing in Europe.

It sounds like Petley was supposed to lose his last fight, since why else would Bellator pick up a fighter on a 4-fight losing streak? But he ended up winning.

If that is the case there is a part of me that hopes he kicks ass here.
