See that’s the kind of post that gets me pumped up and excited to get back into watching wrestling, appreciate that
@ShakaSway!
“To not give it to Mox is a bit silly”
When you said that that it reminded me of a question an interviewer once asked Bruiser Brody and the response by Brody was epic ...and I feel at this stage of Jericho’s career he can relate to what Brody was saying:

That answer is spot on perfect and true. We wouldn’t take a ton of people seriously as an audience if they never faced those guys at the top. Makes me appreciate Jericho at the top of AEW that little more. Darby Allin, an AEW standout had a match with Cody, whom we can all say is a leading wrestler in AEW, had a time limit draw with him. In a hell of a match.
Darby Allin also gets a match against Jericho. Darby gets to showcase his talents, even with his hands cuffed behind his back against him. Had a screwy finish where Jericho retains (The Walls being the deciding factor, because with no hands, no can defend) but we saw him versus the best.
Its really why I love and hate wrestling as I get older, discover the little things that make wrestlers/wrestling so awesome. When Sting won the WCW championship off Hogan, I don’t think I really cared about the screwy finish, I just cared that Sting won. Older now, and I mark out for SANADA in NJPW getting a win over Okada, despite him doing things that usually lead to a loss in the past. Makes it that more special when it finally works out:
Wrestling is so great, and we are in times of not so much a resurgence, but a time where theres something for everybody. And thats super grand
