After Reebok snub, UFC officials promise to promote Carla Esparza as champ

Well it is kinda shitty for an organization to overlook one of their champions, but i find it kinda funny now that rousey is taking time off they all of a sudden say hey your right we have Carla to promote. I see this a bad business on the UFC as usual

Zuffa's biggest problem, and that's saying allot, is their lack of promoting all of the fighters under contract. Aldo is arguably P4P neck and neck with Crackhead Jones and they give the guy zero push. I would market the shit out of him to the Hispanic and South American fans but they are to dumb to realize it.

doesn't surprise me.....she didn't come off to well during TUF but that's no excuse to not promote her thoroughly, she also deserves a reebok deal and i don't blame her for making that known.

I'm wondering, but would we even know if they are? I don't speak Portuguese or live in Brazil, so I wouldn't see any promotion done on Portuguese sites or Brazilian TV. What promotion are we talking about that they should do as well?

Ah, thanks. I never understood why so many fighters on that show allow themselves to be cast in that light (of being a fucking idiot) as soon as the cameras are on. That show ruins people for me. Some of them win me over with a few years of fighting and maturing in the UFC after the come out of TUF, like Leben and Meathead, while others will always remain fuckheads to me regardless what they did with their careers, like that McSweeney guy or Junie Browning, lol!

I agree. Carla wasn't near as bad as Bec or Angela. Carla is an excellent fighter and she walked out to Metallica-Harvester of Sorrow in her fight against Rose, which made me a fan. Her demeanor was excellent. Calm and collected much like how Gegard looks like he is grocery shopping before a fight.
