Chi Lewis-Parry is out of his fight at GLORY 30 next week against Guto Inocente, andDaniel Cormier's hard head is partly to blame.

GLORY announced Wednesday that Lewis-Parry sustained a fractured left hand midway through a sparring session with the UFC light heavyweight champion at American Kickboxing Academy.

"We were in a sparring session and the energy level was high," Lewis-Parry told the organization. "DC is really motivated right now after watching Jones' last fight. So we were getting into it in the stand up, and next thing I've thrown my left hook and it's landed on his head and I just felt this shooting pain up my arm, from my hand up to my arm, and I just knew something had happened.

"I got my glove off and my hand was swelling up, so I called it a day, went and got a scan and it's turned out to be a fracture. I am gutted that I can't fight at GLORY 30 next week now, it's so unlucky. But I will be back as soon as I can and I am still chasing that title shot against Rico Verhoeven."

Karma's a bitch. If his hands break so easily then it's no secret why he wanted no part of Arthur Jones when Arthur was all up in his face.

Cormier seems to have really gotten a second wind since Jones had a lackluster (for him) performance. That's weird to me, though. He was less motivated when he was fighting the best fighter in the world who just beat him, and he got more motivated when he saw something that led him to believe that Jones had regressed. Most of what he has said since the Jones-OSP fight makes me think that he really didn't feel like he had a chance against your typical Jon Jones.

Aka is probably my favorite mma camp, but man these jokes are funny. It used to piss me off when people got injured, but it is complete normal nowadays.

My favorite aka injury joke was when a poster on the ug created a thread titled: who wins? Browne or cains injury replacement?" Lol that shit had me dying. Cain getting injured is like the sun rising.

The worst part is Cain is one of my favorite fighters :/

Thread title cracked me up.

But.. i need the focus back on the mma fighters. don't fail me now AKA. Train hard Rockhold, real hard. You can get me to 3 for the win.

Next time the knockout pool should include a powerball..if all 3 are on the same team..there's a bonus prize.

I'm not trolling here (and am a full fledged Jones supporter) but Cormier sounded so happy in interviews surrounding him not having to fight Jones due to injury...........

Teflon Jon owns him. he can't even have the sheriff's sympathy when he's playng the good guy and Jones is waiting in jail.

Jones acquired his soul by taking him down repeatedly and now there's nothing he can do.

I'm a Jones guy, but I am also quite fond of DC.. I'm just surprised. He was saying that it was a bummer that he didn't fight the Jones that fought OSP, and that he's motivated after he saw a mediocre performance from Jones. I feel like real competitors want to face the best guy on their best day.

By the way, Daniel Cormier is ten times the competitor that I am. He is an incredible athlete, and I personally think that in terms of overall skill he is one of the best I have ever seen.. I'm just confused by his recent attitude.

wat? Arthur plays football and this dude punches and kicks people for living. karma is a bitch but you're giving Arthur too much credit for what he's not. Also, Cormier's head is hard, hardest in the division. He took that shot clean from Rumble and shook it off so I don't think it's that Perry has weak hands. He's training at AKA is the real problem LOL they have some kind of a curse

Arthur plays football but even his brother, the MMA GOAT, said that Arthur would beat him in a fight at close range.

Arthur is a physical specimen who would only need 6 months of MMA training to TKO Werdum in the first round and become the UFC heavyweight champ.

Bottom line if this dude is a kickboxer he should never have been running his mouth to Jonathan Jones, an MMA fighter.

Sure i believe that too but if they just decides to throw down wherever they were, Arthur probably be KO'd by a head kick. I think Arthur helps Jon more for the wrestling becuz Arthur wrestled before and he was good. But like Brock, Arthur probably don't like getting hit because hes not used to it and i can see him going to fetal position after one hard shot
