The public response from UFC fighters to the new Reebok sponsorship deal has been mixed if not veering towards negative. Yesterday the UFC unveiled its tenure-based payment structure which will divvy up sponsorship money as low as $2,500 for fighters with 1-5 Zuffa bouts and $40,000 for the champions.
TUF 15 winner Al Iaquinta falls under the $5,000 tier (6-10 fights), and he went to Twitter to "cheer" the money he'll make in his next fight:

Gotta love Raging Al. And he's not the only one. If you have Twitter, check out how many fighters have publicly blasted this deal...it's pretty astounding. The fighters are NOT happy. Was yesterday a monumental day, where fighters finally went from remaining quiet, to having a voice?
