How about a movie on the Bush families ties to the Bin Laden family? And their quick exit out of the US post 9/11? Nah, boring.
Or Bin Laden's apparent work before the story had him morph into the boogeyman he'd later been packaged and sold to the American public as:

I have this in my queue, but am debating if I wanna watch it now.
I do, but my time doing contract work in Iraq had a profound impact on my life. As a result, I'm always real somber around Sept 11th every year, and tend to watch a couple-few of the same documentaries.
(One of them is extremely good...though looking back, it's hard now not to wonder how much of it is bullshit the govt fed us.)

It deals with the CIA manhunt, very minimal as far as military/contractors. I still have to watch the last episode tonight. Only issue I have so far is netflix shoving the three "bad ass" women CIA analysts into the main narrative.
I don't buy much of it at all, if any.
Highly likely he was dead long before then and it was pure propaganda and a "Win" for Barack Hussein at a time when his approval rating was hurting and he was looking soft.
I used to think Docs were all legit and just telling the story, but sadly I have come to realize a good portion of them are after the fact propaganda and re-telling and repainting the course of events and "facts". Sucks but you have to view docs like this to mine the golden ones as I'm sure you already know.

I think they had a documentary a couple years ago about how a group of women math wizards were the reason Man Landed on The Moon. It was a big push, multiple people were recommending it to me lol.
True or not their is a huge push for these types of stories.
