Less than one month away from his long awaited return against Michael Bispingin London, former UFC middleweight champion revealed to Combate he is as eager to fight as ever. So much that he wishes to fight three more times this year after dealing with "The Count".

"Besides Bisping, I want to have three more fights this year and if I win them all, I want a new title shot. I hope that God blesses me and nothing else can stop me."

I think someone is eager to test free agency. Before his Weidman fight he had signed an 8-fight contract with the ufc. He's had 3 fights since then and with 4 more he will be 1 fight away from being released.

He's still got half a name.....if he beats Bisping (can't believe I'm even considering that Bisping has a chance) and weidman loses to Luke again (not in the realm of possibility, but we're all dreamers) then he could get that fight with weidman but who else is there that is fight worthy with his salary?, ie return on investment for ufc?

He will be medically suspended half the year after Bisping finishes him so i dont see how he fights 4 times.

4 fights in a year is a hell of a pace.

I....wait for it......hope he can keep it up.

If Rockhold beats Weidman and Anderson beats Bisping and looks good, what are our odds of a third fight by year's end?

I just watched that interview and they also showed the Nick Diaz fight.

he put a beating on Nick in the first 3 rounds, much more than I remembered.

If Anderson beats Bisping, and I assume he will, and Vitor loses, it will be Vitor/Anderson II at some point soon.
That fight can't lose headlining a fight night.

I wonder if Anderson still wants to fight that much.
Why wouldn't he? After the fight he looked like he could just take a shower and go out for dinner. No one could tell he had just had a fight.
