Invicta strawweight title challenger Angela Hill spoke to Bloody Elbow ahead of her fight with Renata Livia Souza at Invicra FC 17 on May 7th. The former UFC fighter discussed her approach to the fight, the difference between Invicta and the UFC, and her recent twitter exchange with Din Thomas.

Invicta strawweight Angela Hill has wowed fans with back-to-back TKO victories, over Alida Gray and Stephanie Eggink, in her first two appearances with Invicta Fighting Championships. Those wins have propelled the popular former Ultimate Fighter contestant into her first MMA title fight - versus reigning Invicta strawweight champion Livia Renata Souza.

Hill, who is 4-2, told Bloody Elbow that she has had her eye on Souza since signing with Invicta in late 2015. And it's fair to say that…

Good to see her thriving in Invicta. She was at a big disadvantage in terms of experience. Tecia had 12 amateur and pro fights going in and Rose had 8, compared to Angela's 2 fights.

Of course a smaller org will value their fighters more. That's true for any business, the smaller amount of something that's available the more valuable it becomes.

I was going to say, it is because she is literally more valuable to them.

This shit ain't rocket science playas.

She came into the UFC 1-0 and left 2-2. What value is that to the UFC? lol.
