When I rode the bus on occasion, I'd put my feet on the seats across from me all the time. If there was someone occupying the seat, I'd put my feet in their lap. I have a right to be comfortable.

And in the very few dealings I've had with police, when I cursed at them and angrily explained that they had no right to arrest me and that I didn't do anything, I was immediately released and apologized to for having my time wasted.

But obviously police take a different stance when dealing with minorities. Sad!

It kind of seems like the cops were arresting people for no reason that they'd have arrested the obnoxious cameraman while they were at it. Lol@ "excessive use of force".

I'm tall so I usually lie down from one side of the bus to the other, extending my feet across the aisle. I take up 4 seats when I do this.

I don't like sitting too far back so I usually block at least the last 2-3 rows. People who would like to sit behind me can either step awkwardly over my outstretched legs or just find a seat in front of me.

Never had any problems with law enforcement...

I think people are getting a little too ballsy with police, they need to learn to respect authority. Personally I'd like to see police get a bit more liberal with using billy clubs.

The whole thing shows a massive failure to communicate and show common decency.
I like the last lady's willingness to stand up for what she thinks is right but can't see how anyone would think that's a worthy cause...points lost for cries of racism.
People are fucking stupid....I am a people :(
