Made a new friend. I nicknamed this one "Snow" because his fur is a lot lighter in color than all the other squirrels.
He's super friendly. He comes right up to me when I'm standing and isn't afraid to make contact:

I've recently hung a bird feeder on my patio. Took about 5 days before I saw any action but now I see groups of 4-8 daily. At first when I'd walk up to sliding door they'd fuck off scared. Now they know I'm not a threat I can blaze on the patio 8' away from them and they're cool. One of my cats loves to hide under my chair out there and creep hard. Once I can get closer I'll post some photos.

was letting a hummingbird drink from the hose a bunch this year....thing would come down and buzz me to turn on the hose...so I would and then spray it in air and it would zoom in and drink drops of water...it kept getting like 3 feet from my face and zig zagging around while mugging me

so i just shot one of my squirrels because ive been curious how they taste ever since a scene in a recent show.
cooking him right now and one of his buddies is eating some new bird food i got
do u think squirrel meat would be good for him? or is that a bad idea? and is it immoral?
and im absolutely very far from serious right now. i thought of this because i was about to smash a chicken finger and remembered feeling guilty last summer as i sat outside watching the sparrows eat food. i was talking to them so nicely, because i love them; meanwhile, i was eating one of their cousins (chicken)
