Given that they arrived in secret- no radio emissions, no light source from a ship bound for the inner Solar system- only to bumblingly reveal themselves flying around in the atmosphere... doesn't make sense.
There are also USO’s. The S is for submersible. Some believe the ships don’t come from space, they come from the bottom of the ocean.

but if they did, their travel, communications, light, etc... would make no sense to us.
