Been playing this game off and on over the years online, it's a good time burner. You can choose between 2 to 8 players. You start out with a set amount of countries and units, goal is to get a supply channel with countries linked together. So if you have 15 countries linked you get 15 units when you end your turn. The game places them randomly but it will fuck you every chance it can, it will place the larger units on the frontline from your enemies while it places yours in the rear line. You can have 1 to 8 units per country. My strategy is to get on the outer perimeter to build up my units while everyone fights it out in the middle of the map, then I go in and destroy them.

I haven't tried the app version yet.

I've never played, bought it recently to play on family game nights. We love Catan and Carcassonne right now

It was ok, I liked Monopoly more, but those were our 2 family go-to's.
My dad would always form alliances and strong-arm us, but I didn't like losing because dice rolled a certain way.
But it was those clear red dice that were my favorite part of the game, and the little pieces.

When I go into a sadist mood, I will just build up to the max for all my countries and watch them flounder, or leave 2 enemies, where they have 2 units each and see them fight it out like ants.
