heh what kind of wacky things did you write on your cover letter?
nothing really wacky or crazy. I don't remember exactly, usually just something positive and honest that the reader could relate to on a more personal level. Was always short, simple. A paragraph 1/2 at best, something easy on the eyes.
Whatever I'd write, I would simply make it clear that I wasn't following the standard template, and I think people dig this.
I bet it would even work for more serious positions to be honest, as long as you back it up when you show up for work
