I've never seen that video, it does a really good job at compressing a bunch of great memories. It makes me realize that I will never experience it again. Back then I'd get hyped weeks maybe months ahead of time for an event. Spend time searching online for anything I can find about it, discussions about it and the fighters. When it finally came I'd be so pumped for it, watch it, watch it again, then wait another few months for another event.
Same here. Every time I watch that video I realize how much mma has fallen. I miss those days a lot.
My favorite videos have songs you dont think would go well with MMA. The Scientist, a Beautiful day, a Perfect day.

Doesn't have to be. Dana needs to be replaced with someone who's actually hungry enough to promote decent fight cards. I had tons of people over almost every Saturday to watch MMA over the last 10 years. Of course COVID fucked everything up. One neighbor still doens't even talk to us. It totally broke him.
Too many cards with no name fighters, plus women fights. A lot of people lost interest.
Right. I was more excited to discuss what we were going to eat that weeekend than who we were going to watch fight. Dana must go. He cares more about building his slap fighting brand and starting a boxing promotion than promoting MMA. Shareholders should oust him.
