Are humans too easily offended?

I think you tear the fucking place down. It represents some of the worst that humanity will inflict on one another. The history books tell the story very, very well, and you can memorialize the victims with just that, a memorial. Keeping the building there and offering tours is just morbid. I also think it'd be weird to offer people the chance to visit genuine lynching trees or spend a day in the life of a Jeffrey Dahmer victim.
It's not just buildings you would be tearing down. It is a museum, a memorial, and even more importantly, it's a cemetery.

Maybe to you. To me it's a bunch of people who felt strongly compelled to see a place where millions were killed. Except the cemetery part, I certainly wouldn't suggest taking down the markers, or digging them up. That's more of a memorial than a brick and mortar death camp will ever be.
