Which ones?
For him It's functional because he does a lot of parkour type stuff on the show and it looks showy. Mostly looks like core strength, the Ice cream maker is a gymnastic training move. Salmon ladder I've only seen on Ninja warrior but its a bit like a variation on a muscle up.
