So I decided it was time to take all my years of working on vehicles from small to extra large and finally do my own project.
I have a Saturn ION sedan sitting in the driveway, the one I recently threw a new engine in, and figured it would be cool to freshen it up a bit with some extra ponies.
The goal is to stay below $1k, keep the internals stock, and hit at least 225whp.
I’m doing this with a GM EcoTec 2.2L I4.
The first piece of hardware came in the mail today... An M62 supercharger. I’m going to do a small vid series of the build and the first one will be with the goals of the build and refurbishing the supercharger. This will take a few months simply because of the budget goal and having to shop around for parts that can be reused.
I’m super excited to do this and show people that even a college chick car can lay down some power.
