Ubereem.

Remember him?

Absolutely Wrecking fools, he was supposed to be the next greatest challenge for Fedor.

Then Werdum put a wrench in things.

Then....
Overeem changes his long time dutch camp, the same camp that helped him become the monster he turned into, and he bolts.

Gives a new team with new faces more money, turned his back on Bas and other Dutch trainers/coaches.

I recall Bas being very vocal about all of this and Bas is a super nice guy, rarely does he make a big stink. I know Bas had a small beef with Kimbo, but Bas never said anything close to what he said about the Reem.

Bas predicted that Overeem will have karma hit him.

Before this whole fiasco-
Overeem/Ubereem was an MMA Champion(promotion name escapes me, white cage, todd duffee-Dream-that's it!)
He was a K1 Champion
Arguably the hottest mma prospect not signed to UFC

Now
changed camps yet again
has training partners have bad things to say about him(rumble)
He's outside of the UFC top 10 when before changing camps was thought to be the one to take out Cain.
Failed Steroids test, name is absolute Mud.

Bas Rutten, how right you were.

Overeem has always been consistently inconsistent in terms of his MMA career. On the juice and off the juice. If Overeem had grown up in the states, he would've played football or some other sport where he could've utilized his "natural" strength and athleticism, but because he grew up in Holland his athleticism seems almost underdeveloped, flying knees aside. Greg Jackson has really focused in on that aspect of Overeem's strength and conditioning, but you have to wonder if it's a little late to re-calibrate a fighter who's been through everything the Reem has.
