My biggest failures in communication have either been from not being succinct or failing to understand.

Investing a lot of energy in communicating at length, seems to result in less willingness to admit being wrong, even when we are, or when it's advantageous to do so.

Let 2019 be the year of getting to the point.

I am king of blunt and brief
Really irks some folks, but I do not have patience for sugar coating or bush beating..and frankly I see small talk as a waste of both parties time.

Lots of people love my communication skills IRL.

FYI I am self employed so I only deal with customers/clients, not peers or superiors...I don't think my act is office friendly, but I have not tested out that theory.
