Bellator 135 took place at Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Okla., and the four-fight main card aired on Spike TV.

In the headliner, a new champion was crowned in shocking fashion when Marcos Galvao (17-6-1 MMA, 7-3 BMMA) earned a verbal submission win over former champ Joe Warren (12-4 MMA, 10-3 BMMA) when a kneebar earned a scream from “The Baddest Man on the Planet.”

In the night’s co-feature, L.C. Davis (23-6 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) and Hideo Tokoro (32-28-2 MMA, 0-1 BMMA), who were originally slated to compete on the evening’s preliminary card, put on an instant classic in a three-round thriller what saw Davis edge the Japanese veteran in a split decision....

He could've gave a much better post fight talk no doubt.

Yes, Warren's conduct was so out-of-line.
He was awarded a gift decision in the first place/fight, and Galvao was professional as expected, giving Warren his moment.

Joe completely scarred the "office" of the main event, Galvao was then robbed of not only his moment, but his post-fight congratulations, as Jimmy felt inclined somehow to let Joe blow hot air.
Galvao is now 2-0 vs. Warren in my book.


I thoroughly enjoyed Davis/Tokoro.
Honestly, Tokoro blew me away, and I thought he won the decision.
But the battle coupled with Davis' storyline unfortunately introduces the possibility of a favorable script.
The world won, and Hideo was unfairly given the L for it.
What a fight.
