Bellator 154 averaged 709,000 viewers, 67,000 viewers less than their rivals despite Spike TV being in nine million more homes than FS1.

That’s still a decent number for the promotion though, particularly due to the fact that they were going up against the UFC, but at the same time they were offering up one of their strongest main events in a while, with Phil Davis fighting Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal. That being said, the rest of Bellator’s main card was relatively weak.

Not bad considering how gutted the card was and that it went up against UFC 198. UFC did 786k, but this has to feel like a win for Bellator. I think if Thomson didn't get hurt, they could have done even better.

IMO, that's a great # for them...all things considered.

Yup, decent numbers for all the things surrounding this event. Going up against the UFC prelims, losing 3 main card fights, starting an hour earlier.

I don't think Floyd made it official, but he said that it was looking like the peak was 1.1m

Bellator is better off going up against the UFC than other main stream sports. This one fight card did better numbers going up against the UFC than the Benson card did going up against the nba play offs. I'm sure bellator will learn from this.

Does anyone know what kind of competition bellator has this Friday? If there is no nba or nhl, I actually see them averaging more than this card. Won't peak as high tho.

No NBA Playoff games, so that's a plus

didnt expect such a high peak. Pleasant surprise.

Yup bellator is better off going up against a UFC ppv, than anything else. Because even if the ppv does a very solid 500k. That is still only 500k tv tuned in to that ppv. It'll leave more tv available for the bellator show.

One thing to consider are ppv parties tho. Still, 1.3 peak is solid af

Are these numbers worldwide? I'm from Paraguay a little south American country and it's hard for us to get the shows other than ppv or in my case ufc network(I get the ppv through here) since most networks don't show mma and change the card for other sport or something else!
I was looking forward to watch this bellator card but couldn't get my hands on it live!

The numbers that you see are usually just United States numbers(unless they specifically state that they are other countries numbers).

I can't really help u with helping u find a channel that shows these cards live on your country, but they usually always have the fights immediately after on bellator.com.

Nice, and the main event was strong for Bellator, but remember that UFC let Phil Davis go to Bellator because "no one would watch him" in the UFC.
