It's pretty obvious from your thread creation history and being almost always the first post in a Bellator related thread.
"A shill, also called a plant or a stooge, is a person who publicly helps or gives credibility to a person or organization without disclosing that they have a close relationship with the person or organization. Shills can carry out their operations in the areas of media, journalism, marketing or other business areas"

Coker ain't paying me shit. I'm just a fan buddy.

The way I look at it is that the UFC and Bellator are playing 2 different games. The UFC widened the gap considerably between them and Bellator in 2015. If Bellator is content in drawing a big rating every now and then for these tentpole events then that's fine. They aren't competition for the UFC though. This business model isn't sustainable. At some point, Coker is going to need build homegrown stars like he did for Strikeforce. They have plenty of talent to do so but you look at guys like Strauss, Brooks and Koreshkov who are all champions and they barely get promoted. How many people knew who Koreshkov was before they booked him against Benson despite being 18-1 with 13 finishes and dominating Douglas Lima for 5 rounds to win the title?

I could be dead wrong, but i think Coker was hoping Newton and Vassal would go in the homegrown stars slot with that fight.

Did you catch the Benson Henderson special after the fights..? Koreshkov got plenty of air time during that- but if it had been a while special about him, I'm sure not as many people would have tuned in. Coker knows what he's doing.

If true, he is pushing the wrong guys.

Zuffa took over the ufc in 2001. Scotty took over Bellator's operations in 2014. Let's see how well Bellator is doing in 13 more years from now. I'm pretty rainbow about it. :D

That special reminded me of the lead-up to the Shields vs. Hendo fight. Shields was champ and Hendo just got inked to Strikeforce and they built the promotion of the fight around Hendo. It was pretty disrespectful to Shields and Dan inevitably lost.

And made Shields known...

Koreshkov doesn't even have to beat Benson, just be competitive.

Koreshkov isn't a pushover. I'll still take Ben, just because i want him to win. If Andrey wins, that's a big feather in his cap.

The lady doth protest too much. You're a shill.

If it happens, and it wouldn't be the main or co-main event on a pay per view or a Big FOX show.
If it's on a Fox show, it'll main or co-main. More than likely it'll be on a PPV where although it won't be a main or co-main you're going to have to fork out 60 bucks (probably 65) to see it.

We'll see. My (monopoly) money is on it never happening due to the punk's age and recent surgery, amongst other things.

The UFC might wise up after the scare seen in bellator. These dudes could lose a lot of cred letting punk fight.

Might as well just have brought someone like mark wahlberg. An actor, nothing more

So you're of the opinion that making a big deal about bringing a guy in with a 0-0 record, no MMA experience, and having him not fight is better for the image of the sport than a fight that went terribly because one guy suffered heart failure mid-fight and still soldiered through?

Dada shouldn't have been allowed to step in the cage. If you cant stand and lean for 10 minutes, you don't have the cardio to participate in a professional mma fight. The texas commission should be ashamed of themselves for almost letting a guy kill himself due to his own laziness.

Commissions need to perform a stress test on fighters to ensure they actually trained for their fight. Its sad that a government agency has to do that, but apparently there really are people that fucking stupid. Dada could have risked the sport itself by being to lazy to go running a couple times a week to prepare for a professional sporting event.

It was an embarrassment to the entire sport that a fight like that could be on television and a man could almost lose his life because there is a complete lack of effort, caring and due diligence. I'm not saying that walking into a pro fight without training means you deserve to die, but it is increadibly fucking stupid. The sport would end up having serious issues, maybe even congressional hearings if a fighter died from exhaustion and fatigue from walking into a fight without training.

WORST FIGHT I HAVE EVER SEEN.....and arlovski werdum was pretty damn bad.

Look....im an extremely anti-zuffa business practices kind a fan.....but no level of zuffa hate could ever make me feel compelled to defend that hot garbage bellator put on......that shit was potentially more harmful to the long term health of the sport than the reebok deal. Putting that shit on tv and calling it mma makes the whole sport look like shit.....Bellator has the fighters to put on a better show than that....absolutely no excuse for the shitshow and near heart failure....

I wholeheartedly agree. Except for it being the worst fight I've ever seen. I don't think it's even in my top (or bottom?) 5.
