Every event but 1 has peaked with over a million viewers. The one that didn't was tape delayed (and still almost did).

Bellator doesnt televise its prelims does it?Dvr numbers are deceiving. I would like to see prelim avg and prelim peaks
Nope. All online.Bellator doesnt televise its prelims does it?
Nope. They're all onlineBellator doesnt televise its prelims does it?
Why would you leave the DVR numbers out...? To me, those are misleading. Thry don't account for the total number of people who tuned in to watch.Dvr numbers are deceiving. I would like to see prelim avg and prelim peaks
The entire point of ratings from a business standpoint is to present them to companies who might want to buy ad time on your time slots. Those who dvr tend to skip through the ads when watching dvr, thus defeating the purpose of including dvr numbers. Why would you leave the DVR numbers out...? To me, those are misleading. There's no accurate way of knowing how many of those who dvr'd the event skipped the ads though. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.The entire point of ratings from a business standpoint is to present them to companies who might want to buy ad time on your time slots. The only way I'd say dvr is acceptable is if they make it to where those who dvr can't forward through ads. That's my opinion anyways.
I don't doubt that, but I think you're missing my point. There's no accurate way of knowing how many of those who dvr'd the event skipped the ads though. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
Sometimes I put the fights on, go get my food and my beer, sit down, then realize I left the remote 5 feet in front of my couch and would have to get up to get it...Why would anybody NOT skip through the commercials on a DVR'd show lol
No, I get it- and were I someone who bought ad time I would weigh the 2 numbers against each other (those who definately viewed the ad in real time, vs the potentially highest number of people to see said ad).I don't doubt that, but I think you're missing my point.
What I'm saying is... from business perspective, it's bad enough that people are flipping channels when during your ads. Why the hell would we pay extra for dvr numbers when those who dvr are not only able to change the channel, but are able to completely fast forward through ads all together?
I get your point. Personally, I wouldn't put too much stock in dvr until something changesNo, I get it- and were I someone who bought ad time I would weigh the 2 numbers against each other (those who definately viewed the ad in real time, vs the potentially highest number of people to see said ad).
But I didn't buy ad time, so that doesn't mean shit to me. I'm just curious to know how many people watched the fights.
Great point, I never get to watch bellator but would happily if they would put it on tv here....UFC is always recorded and I am extremely happy I can ff through those fox cards and most times every event.....sorry to the purists but it is what it is anymoreWhy would anybody NOT skip through the commercials on a DVR'd show lol
