Bellator officials are determined to make sure Michael Page fights at home in London on July 16. But his opponent won't be Fernando Gonzalez.

MMAFighting.com confirmed an initial Wednesday report by MMAJunkie.com that Gonzalez has pullled out of their Bellator 158 welterweight bout due to visa issues. But a Bellator rep says the company is "actively seeking an opponent" to keep "Venom" on the show at O2 Arena.

They will find another can for him instead of giving him a legit opponent.

I have a feeling that it truly is a bit of a VISA issue. Even though he had his record expunged it doesn't mean that that info is really gone from history. Now, it's quite possible that Bellator could have it cleared up and keep the fight on but maybe they don't want to put in the effort especially considering that Gonzalez could upset one of their brightest prospects.

Has he fought anyone other than opponents that would be fighting in local promotions if they weren't brought in to build his name?

Are you scared of him lighting people up? 'Cause that's what he does..

Whose his best win? NahShon Burrell? Good fighter (NahShon), but if he (Page) is half as good as some seem to think, why not give him a step up in competition and put him in a main event? I think that is more than a fair question to ask, but you probably won't answer it, just as you didn't answer my previous question.

I'd say the win over Ricky Rainey was his best, in terms of opponent and how he won.

Rainey and Burrell are tough guys. I definitely want to see MVP mix it up with someone that's a step up at this point. Not saying that he needs to fight for the title yet but a steady progression would be nice. It seems like his opponents have kind of regressed a bit recently.

Progression is right. Top 10 guy now. Top 4-7 guy next. Title contender fight or title fight after that.
