Bellator has signed one of the most successful young featherweights on its roster to a multi-year, multi-fight contract extension.
The promotion announced the new deal with Roufusport team member Emmanuel Sanchez (13-2 MMA, 5-1 BMMA). Terms of the contract weren’t disclosed.
Sanchez, 25, is currently riding a three-fight winning streak. All three of those victories – over Henry Corrales, Justin Lawrence and Daniel Pineda – have come by split decision. Lawrence and Pineda, both UFC veterans, entered the cage riding four- and three-fight winning streaks, respectively.
