After James Gallagher drops out due to injury. What the hell has Huerta been up to?

not much
He fought in Dubai and beat Hayder Hassan by DQ in December. Is only 3-9 in his last 12 fights since 2007, should be an easy fight for Henderson.

Bendo could definitely use a softball about now to get his groove back.

Huerta seems like a guy Bellator could put on their prelims to fight prospects and give them more visibility, I suppose. At least in an alternate universe where Bellator prelims aren't 90% worthless filler by design despite having a full time roster who don't get enough bookings. The game's long since passed Huerta by, but he's actually not that old and isn't being knocked out cold, so I'm not against Bellator using him as a veteran name who can be jobbed out to rookies who can be used as a really low-level gatekeeper for prospects.

Seems like a dangerous fight for Bendo. Roger had a big name, but has been forced into obscurity for many years. Bendo stock has already dropped, losing this fight could equal the end for him.

Benson gives no fucks about danger. Pretty sure he's already lining up his retirement job as a coach, so he'll fight whoever, whenever. As long as he can sneak in his toothpick, he'll get the W.

huerta is no joke. he strikes me as the guy who knows a supreme amount, butt-fucked up here and there, didn't quite give his best show. he's a live dog here. especially if bendo thinks it's christmas time

Wow, I had no idea Huerta was still active.
I agree that although this seems like a "smooth" win, they are both 34 years old, and Huerta is fully capable of landing big and sending Benson to the lower tier of his next couple main cards.

Roger Huerta...

hope he and Bendo can put on a great show for the crowd. Both (Heurta especially though) will want to prove they can still compete at top level so should be a good tilly

The last Bendo fight I saw I was actually there and I fell asleep, this will probably be less of a snoozefest being Huerta must be rusty as all fuck.
