See Alberta and BC arent too far removed from their views of Ottawa. Western provinces have been alienated by the east. Are they as jealous as British Columbians?

Did you know that in NEW YAWK you can buy a couch at 4 am????And I just want a decent slice of pizza at 4am okay?!?!
Big brother syndrome. If you go to BC and Alberta and say anything positive about Ontario at all, the locals get very insecure and irritated. The hairs on the back of their necks stand up and their palms immediately begin to sweat. As they furrow their brows they manage to stammer "u sh-shoo_shoo-should go beck dair den." The simple fact that other places can be nice or have nice things simply escapes them.
No matter how many pro USA posts you make you'll still be Canadian.Big brother syndrome.
It's also common across Canada as it pertains to America where Canadians think that if they make America look bad it somehow raises their value.
Case in point ^ @conor mcgregor nut huggerNo matter how many pro USA posts you make you'll still be Canadian.
I've noticed this and always found it strange. My immediate reaction when someone tells me they're Canadian and not American is jokingly say "Same thing".Big brother syndrome.

You see the same thing state to state. People exaggerate their uniqueness to please their egos.I've noticed this and always found it strange. My immediate reaction when someone tells me they're Canadian and not American is jokingly say "Same thing".
But some Canadians get offended by this. For some bizarre reason, they think that their southern neighbors, with whom they share far more in common than any other country, are vastly different from them.
Yes, Canadians are almost always more polite than we are, and, ok, hockey is your football.
But beyond that we're basically the fucking same.
that is some trailer park boys shit right there lol .that is such a busy area.he must have drove up from the reserve.he would have got killed trying to ride up the shoulder of the highway and carrington is pretty busy and chaotic as well. im going to be on the lookout for this guyEven our bums are higher class than the rest of the country. I'd like to see a homeless person east of the Rockies who rolls hard AF like this guy. @jason73 I saw this Sunday at the Tims by Home Depot.
We don't have any. They're all in beautiful British Columbia.Even our bums are higher class than the rest of the country. I'd like to see a homeless person east of the Rockies who rolls hard AF like this guy.
the canadian media perpetuates this. the cbc loves to point out anything that makes us different from america .there is an air of smugness about how much "better" we are because of health care and other issues. it is kind of what the cbc exists for. we are the same. same values and same culture. with a few small differences .I've noticed this and always found it strange. My immediate reaction when someone tells me they're Canadian and not American is jokingly say "Same thing".
