Not the best but a lot of fun and a favorite from my childhood. I picked up a copy at a garage sale last week.

Drunken master

Double impact

All the usual ones.

Five super fighters is a good one if you can find it.

Jackie Chan's 80s / early 90s movies were awesome.

There was a group of us who would gather most Fridays and grab something from the local video library. Not Blockbuster, this was a small independent shop run by a guy who had an encyclopedic knowledge of movies.

He once recommended one of Jackie Chan's movies, and from there we binged his entire collection.

Just checked Jackie's filmography, we watched:

Drunken Master
Dragon Fist
The Big Brawl
Project A
Wheels on Meals
Police Story
Armour of God
Project A 2
Police Story 2
Armour of God 2: Operation Condor
Police Story 3: Supercop
Twin Dragons

The Police Story trilogy and Armour of God series were the pick of the bunch.

It doesn't get much better than Enter the Dragon for me

The old Jackie Chan drunken master?

I love that one, played it once and my buddy and my lady thought I was out of my mind, they just didn't get it.
There's a style of humour that can take some getting used to in Chan's movies, it's not for everyone.

Everyone can marvel at the fight choreography though.

The outtakes at the end showing all the stunts gone wrong was always entertaining as well.

I think it was before he was bigger in the USA, so they didn't understand it was an origin story. Not sure I did either but I loved the movie.

I remember the movie, the fight choreography wasn't quite as smooth and the humour not quite as developed as his later stuff but it was a fun watch nonetheless.

Kung Fu Hustle is probably my favourite outside of Jackie Chan movies.

As you can tell, I like a bit of humour in a matial arts flick.

I'll add a couple of early Jet Li martial arts comedy movies, Fong Sai-yuk and the imaginatively titled sequel, Fong Sai-yuk 2.

Have you watched iron monkey? There's a funny bit on that .

There's a about on police story that still cracks me up thinking about it too. His tart with the moped.

Shaolin Soccer is by the same guy as Kung Fu Hustle. Both great movies.

Jet Li/Jackie Chan, I like almost all of their movies, especially the earlier ones from Jet Li.

Is that the one where the guy invents "iron vest kung fu" in an attempt to fight against the new musket toting imperial forces? I may be thinking of the wrong one here.

Yeah his girlfriend May, when he tries to stop her leaving and ends up lifting the back wheel off the ground while she revs up. When she demands he let go, he does, and the moped wheelies out from under her whilst he tries to stop the inevitable disaster lol.

I remember the scene.

Yeah Jet li did a couple of good Hollywood movies, but there is something about his earlier Hong kong productions that's special.
