Anyone have a good CC they are using for airline miles/travel points? I’m leaving a lot of goodies on the table.
It all really depends on your local hub you use.Anyone have a good CC they are using for airline miles/travel points? I’m leaving a lot of goodies on the table.
Looking for flexibility. I don't want to be married to one airline/hotel. Annual fees are fine. GF has Delta and Alaska covered. It all really depends on your local hub you use.
Do you care about flexibility and will take fewer points to use different services? Do you want to get cheap air and dont care where you stay when you get there? Are you targeting a long goal of a branded hotel in the maldives and care less about the air?
I'm near southwest, so I know them.
If you are near Southwest, one option is to wait until later this fall. Then get a rapid rewards personal and business card. That's over 110,000 points if you meet the needed spending in the first 3 months (like 7k total between the two). Over 110k you now have a companion pass for the rest of the calendar year and the following year. So you want to time this to earn it in January 2020. Then you have 2020 and 2021 with a set of cards that give points worth about 1.5-1.85 cents each. And you have 2 years of someone flying for free with you.
Read the fine print! there are barriers on sign ups for this so don't apply to another card and then go for this one. All these travel cards are doing this to stop you from getting like five companies and then stacking points through transfer programs. The personal and business are separate. But you dont want to get personal airline X and then try for airline Y card too without reading the details!
Can you just do ma a favour and get some front views of her?

I think what you are saying is they check to see what cards you already have before issuing? Interesting.
Had my eyes on that one. Thanks!I'm saying don't plan to apply to two personal cards in quick succession in attempting to stack travel points or it might fail.
Chase Sapphire preferred is the best all around card Currently for flexibility.
