I didn't make this list but it looks pretty accurate.
NFL - 1972 Miami Dolphins
The greatest team to play the greatest game. The gold standard of professional football. There is a reason no team has ever matched what the 72 Fins did -win every game in the regular season and the playoffs en route to a Super Bowl title.
Some say it's lonely at the top, but I disagree.
NCAAF - 2001 University of Miami Hurricanes
The 2001 Miami Hurricanes are widely viewed as the best college football team of all-time. They simply destroyed their competition that season, winning each game by an average score of 42-10.
NBA - 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls
Jordan, Pippen, Rodman. A then record season of 72 wins and only 10 losses (eclipsed later by GSW, but because the Warriors lost the championship to the Cavs they can't be considered). MJ is widely regarded as the greatest player ever, and this was his greatest team.
MLB - 1998 New York Yankees
They were pretty good I guess.
NHL - The 1982-1983 Edmonton Oilers
I don't watch ice hockey but a Canadian confirmed this and I believe him.
