Bethe Correia meets Jessica Eye at UFC Pittsburgh in February

A clash of Top 10 female bantamweights has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 82 card, in Pittsburgh, on February 27 as Bethe Correia will take on Jessica Eye in a battle for redemption, as Combate reported.

Undefeated until she met Ronda Rousey, Bethe Correia was riding a three-fight winning streak over the likes of Julie Kedzie, Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler, but "Rowdy" put a stop to it last August at UFC 190. In order to prepare for her next challenge, Correia spent some time training at the American Kickboxing Academy, but is now back in Brazil.

In a tougher spot, Eye will look to snap a two-fight losing streak that started last July when she lost to Miesha Tate and then to Julianna Pena in October. In fact, Eye has only one win in the UFC, over Leslie Smith ever since her debut in 2013 as her victory over Sarah Kaufman was overturned due to a positive marijuana test.

"The UFC is keeping her on the sidelines," Correia told MMA Fighting. "If they want me to go in there and retire Miesha, I will do my best to show the world this rookie has some knockout power and retire her. I will make your wish come true, Miesha. I can do this for you."

Tate:

"If that's the fight that she wants, I'd be willing to step in there and teach her a lesson," Tate said. "Obviously, she needs a more brutal beatdown than Ronda gave her and I'd be happy to do that."
