Such a great talent, he had the look and was one of the first really athletic big men..Vader doing Moonsalts off the top rope was crazy and really a fantastic finisher.I remember his cameo on boy meets world
it's vader time!
His story about being involved in the Sid/Arn Anderson stabbing was informative.

That sucks. I remember reading he came out and said not to long ago that doctors only gave him a little bit left to live.
He will always be a wrestling legend. WWF came to town when I was 11 or 12 and me and a few buddies were waiting by the side door to see the wrestlers enter the building. Vader pulled up and was going in and I yelled "it's Vader time" and put my hand up for a high five. He was a heel at the time so instead of high fiving me, he snarled and made a motion like he was going to backhand me in the face haha. It was a great story to tell kids at school on Monday, it was cool he stayed in character and tried to keep the magic for the kids.
