Just saw this on Bispings Twitter.

Callum Bisping is one big ass 17 year old, been doing martial arts since he was young and often trains with his Dad, now he is the No.1 195 lbl wrestler in Orange County.

Callum has stated previously he would be interested in trying out MMA, but I think Mike wants him to complete his education first and would rather he didn't do it all.

How do you people see him doing if he started doing MMA? As Bispings son you've got think he'll be jumping the line when it comes to getting that UFC call up, if he has to fight outside the organisation at all.

Because the UK does not have a school wrestling programme like in the States, they are trying to get Callum into the next Olympics to rep GB. Even if he is nowhere near Olympic level, he'll still be the best wrestler on team GB.

He’s wrestling on the west coast.......I have zero losses to west coast wrestlers.....
New Jersey scouts used to follow me around Ontario tournaments. They backed up a truckload of cash and said I could be “King of Jersey” if I decided to emigrate. I said no.
Back in the late 80s early 90s Jersey had a real vacuum of wrestling talent. Guys wearing jean shorts and tennis shoes were winning state titles.

Cali is one of the only states besides INDIANA that has1 class in wrestling and has a absolute state champion..Iirc it takes 2 weekends to conclude California's state tourney is so big.. and seeing he's ranked 1 that's pretty damn impressive..There's only 5 or so states left that have only 1 class in wrestling and it's special!

People always think that's a joke when I tell them that, but the dude was legit. I remember Faber saying he could have been a legit D1 college wrestler if he chose to do so.

Yes he was def a legit wrestler.. imagine if he only focused on wrestling and not acting he would've been even better.

Time flies. This was back in 2009 at UFC 105, when Bisping fought Denis Kang:

And this one is from 2017:
