I don't think so. Not the way Sugar Ray handled him
I don't think Duran would have near the speed plus Floyd would frustrate
the hell outta him cuz he couldn't hit him and then wait for Duran to
get mad and do something silly
I asked Ray how old he was when he fought Duran the first time.
Ray said he was 137 years old. 137 years old!
I'd give Roy Jones (obvious weight difference) and Bernard Hopkins

The split offered was something dumb like 80-20 for ray. So he told them to fuck off. They eventually worked it out so he would take the fight and he drop kicked him right in the face.
I'm probably a little to young. I remember watching with my grandad
and Ray made him quit. Later as I got older I realized they fought before
that and watched the first fight.
Ray made all the adjustments and Duran didn't have a good night the 2nd time

I don't wanna sound hacist but I think the problem with Mexican fighters
not being able to beat Floyd is their style. They really don't understand the
Philly Shell and that style of boxing.
I think it would take someone that comes from the same style to beat Floyd
I mean look what he did to Canelo. Alvarez just couldnt get anything off.
Its a style thing and also simply not respecting and liking the style
enough to study it and beat it.
Latino fighters value toe to toe and gutting it out. You cant beat Floyd doing that

I'll have to watch the Lacy fight. Admittedly once MMA came on the scene my interest
in boxing went down the tubes so I'm probably not the best to even speak on it
But what about that filthy argie savage maidana? He had some success against Floyd. I think to be honest Floyd has entered a spot now where if he loses it won't really count because he's past his prime. People would still bet the house on a prime version of him winning.

Same here. I was big into boxing but I know only watch the greats like amir Khan, bucky boyd, Floyd, canelo etc
Yeah Maidana did have a bit of success before Floyd figured him out
Even then though Floyd was way past his prime.
He was fighting an entire new era of fighters at that point
