Stick that jab like you mean it damnit!

You aren’t playing patty cake patty cake bakers man.

Solid video looks like you have some nice hooks, use a little more foot work - torque your hips a bit more too and remember after every strike to return your hands back up In the defensive position.

Thanks for sharing ..ps my advice comes from years of watching YouTube and trolling MMA forums

Not to be mean. Buy why did I just watch this?

Are you after a fight?

Do you want coaching?

Are you struggling for attention?

Hello everyone! Here is a video with me practicing on the heavy bag. Don't go to hard on me. I repeat: I am a fan of combat sports not even on an amature level of fighting. I have never fought in a competition.

You're looking for feedback, so I'll give you some:
1. Overall, you don't look back. You're circling the bag, which is more than most people do. You obviously have some boxing experience.
2. Don't paw with the jab, snap it. Even though you're range-finding with it and circling safe, pawing doesn't take practice, snapping does.
3. Turn your shoulder fully into your right hand. You're not committing.
4. Only thing I really noticed is the uppercut combo you do Chute Boxe-style at :19 and later... Unless you're Pride Era- Wanderlei or Shogun, it's not really realistic and your head is wide open.
5. Good coverage on your hooks.

Finally, this is probably a better post for one of the training sub-forums, but good for you posting for comments.

Nice work, man!!
Along with what was already said above, I like that you are conscious of distance and it's also good that you sometimes time your punches with the swinging movement of the heavybag.

My tip for having fun is this:
imagine that the opponent is hitting back at you and you have so slip or parry sometimes. The heavybag is a substitute for your opponent! ; ) Feint at it, evade, fire a combo, imagine the opponent throws a left hook in retaliation, duck that and *boom* fire a hard counter, and step out.

For in-range: (and you're probably working on in-range as well, but not in this video) Swing it, headbutt it, let it swing at you and hit you flush on the face, or on your guard (eyes on target) but while it's up against you you rip some punishing hooks to the body & head, then clinch again. shove it away and when it comes back stop it in it's tracks with a not negociable hard straight, which you even do in the video nicely : )

Got a bit carried away, there :)

In general also mix in straights to the body.

A soft arm finding range is an arm you don't damage with, but it's also left you exposed during that time.

Strike first!

Strike hard!

Show no mercy!

Francis Fong's Secret Wing Chun Sensitivity Training is absolutely what HR departments should make mandatory for employees instead of those silly videos they make you watch these days.
