When a northern Indiana woman noticed a spider on her shoulder, she allegedly jumped out of the vehicle she was driving, leading to a crash that injured her 9-year-old son, police said.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department said 35-year-old Angela K. Kipp, of Syracuse, was backing her vehicle from a driveway when she discovered a spider on her shoulder and jumped out.

Kipp’s 9-year-old son climbed from the back seat to the driver’s seat and attempted to hit the brake pedal, but instead stepped on the gas pedal, sheriff's deputies said. The vehicle then hit a passing Wawasee Corporation School bus.

The boy suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Goshen General Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

No children were on the bus at the time and the 62-year-old driver of the school bus was not injured in the crash.

Holy fuck, how stupid does she feel. I know..........she feels as stupid as my Aunt Donna! My aunt did the same thing.........jumped out of the moving car while backing out of her driveway to get away from a june bug. The thing is, she is older and not at all agile so when the open door hit her and folded her over it carved into her head as it ran over top of her (not the car, the door). My uncle was sitting in the passenger seat bewildered and yelling at her "WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING YOU STUPID BITCH?!!?!"

He was pissed right off, but I think it scared him to realize that something so stupid could have so easily ended her life and left him to fend for his own sammiches!

It's close, but I'll give the stupid award to the lady who leaves her kid in the car over the lady who leaves her husband in the car, lol!
