I'm not a particular fan but I don't begrudge Schaub his shot at a fulfilling life, and his logic makes total sense. It's one thing to love being a fighter for some sense of yourself, to want it and starve for it and chase it and bleed for it, and another to get punched in the head for Reebok. Run free and happy, Schaub!

Does the podcast now become The Ex-Fighter and The Kid? Also, better sponsor for "Big Brown" UPS, Dude Wipes, or Cottonelle?

I can't be the only one indifferent if he returns or not can i? I mean I've never liked his style of fighting , he barely won any fights and the fights that he did win he acted like a complete douche I.e (blowing kisses at the camera , taunting opponents) and listening to him on his podcast with Bryan callen or when he is on JRE I can't help but get annoyed by his constant whining and daft opinions just reinforces many peoples perspective of him being a tool. Hope we never see him again be it mma or grappling tournaments the guy brings nothing to the table

After the Rogan slapdown, I became a fan. Honestly that was the best hour and a half or so of MMA journalism I've ever heard and maybe some of the best in sports history. The toughest conversation is telling a friend they're not good enough. My heart bled for Schaub.

But there's a part of me that will just never forgive him for his match in Metamoris and the after the fact justifications. Just thinking about it makes my blood boil.
