Do you guys ever wonder how different the landscape of current MMA be with a ring, instead of a cage?

Im curious mostly how the Dagi crew would adjust to the ring.

Environment breeds strategy. Randy in his prime would have been terrible in a ring the way he fought.
Probably would be a frustrating amount of restarts, way too many for American audiences.

I think the best thing I saw was, I think showtime years ago, they had a small cage with 4 round corners.
Small cage pushed action and the corners were a new puzzle for guys.

I think MMA should have gone with the Yamma Pit design.

Butterbean was like a turtle on his back against the slope if I'm remembering correctly.

I'm glad it isn't a ring, the stopping an restarting when the fighters start to scooch out of the ring is something that always annoyed me with Pride.

YAMMA = a lot of people tripping 🤣🤣🤣

I would love to see a PRIDE-sized, five rope, square ring but with EIGHT ring posts. Four in the traditional spots, plus an additional four mid-way between the other four.
