Anybody know any good recipes? I'm trying to start my winter bulk and would love something other than baked chicken, brown rice, steak, and broccoli.

Whaaat?
Man it's about time.
A Crock pot is an excellent investment.
Stuff is easy to cook too with those.
I love mine.

What kind of recipe are you looking for? Style? Several ingredients? KISS? Etc

KISS

Like I said, I've grown stale of the common foods while trying to put on muscle. It makes it hard to meet calories for the day when I hate the food I'm eating. I'm not a "strict" diet person, so I figure some tasty treats from the slow cooker would be great for the winter gainz

No, but I know an old couple that sells them at the flea market for $30, so it wouldn't be hard to obtain. Living in south Louisiana, I'm kind of embarrassed that I don't have one lol

We got this crockpot recipe book from goodwill called "fix it and forget it." Done about 1/4 recipes, it's got a good mix of recipes and have had some awesome turnouts like roasted duck with wine and some delicioso cobbler desserts!

Pork ribs.

Season with your favorite dry rub.
Wrap in foil.

Put the foil wrapped ribs in the slow cooker on low for 4 hours.

Get the McCormick beef stew packet for the crockpot (probably in the soup isle) and follow the instructions on the back. Takes only a minute or two, and it is pretty good. Great way to make use of a cheap cut of beef. Add lots of potatoes and you get a fairly caloricly dense meal. If you like mushrooms, add a bunch of the whole baby portobello mushrooms as well. They soak up the juice and taste great. They are my favorite part of the stew.
