Can GSP win the 155lb title? I say yes. Would it solidify him as GOAT? I say yes.

Let's face it, if GSP can bring his explosive athleticism, strength, skill and EXPERIENCE down to 155lbs, it's going to be a bad time for the LWs. We're talking about a guy who has physically dominated power house athletes like prime Matt Hughes, Koscheck, Thiago Alves, etc. A guy who dominated Chael Sonnen in grappling, by Chael's own admission.

It's hard to imagine Khabib getting GSP down, or doing anything to him in the stand up. GSP is obviously the much more skilled striker and explosive athlete. I imagine we'd see Khabib in a position we haven't seen him in - defending off of his back, or potentially with GSP on his back.

I'm personally very excited to hear GSP is going to make a run at 155lbs. It makes his win over Bisping that much more impressive - coming off a 4 year layoff, sick, and undersized, and scoring a beautiful finish.

He is the already the goat.. and if he won the 55 title it would just add to his legend..Hes a bad match up for khabib.. he's the only guy that can nullify the wrestling and has the striking to finish him.

He is already the best of his time......there are no goat fighters yet.....the sport is too young and a lot has changed since the start

Only if he doesn't have to fight Conor
when it looked like Robbie Lawler and then later Tyron Woodley might be next for McGregor, did you want those fights or did you feel the same way about those two matchups as you do about him facing GSP next?

Lawler I wasn't worried about.

Woodley is a tough out.

He is already the GOAT. There is no getting around that. Nor is there any argument that could be made for anyone else. (Jones cant be even argued because of his bullshit outside the cage). If Jones was able to keep his head on straight then he would be well on his way to being the GOAT. And I'm not a fan of either but give credit where credit is due. Both are remarkable talents but GSP gets the nod from me considering he was able to handle everything in and out of the cage

If he wins belts in 3 different weight classes, I can't argue he's not the goat. To me it will always be Anderson, but if you tell me it's gsp I wouldn't try to argue with you.
