My back is to the point where I can't comfortably deadlift. I tried the trap bar for the first time and it felt very natural. Will this be a good alternative for the traditional deadlift?

Yes. Or deadlift lighter. You don't need to lift heavy to get results.

i started deadlifting with a trap bar not too long ago. I had never deadlifted because I was scared of hurting myself. The trap bar is fucking awesome.

I love trapbar deadlift - a trapbar was definitely one of my best home gym purchases.

I find that it feels between a traditional squat and deadlift - easier on your back than either and more of a focus on your thighs than traditional deadlift. I do trapbar deadlift in place of squat or deadlift and feel that it can be a solid, primary lower body exercise for a lot of people.

I do deadlift in sumo stance and it makes everything about the motion feel more comfotable.
