I've been told there's no press conference happening.seems like kind of a nothing burger . most of that info has been known for a while just not publicly in the media
i should hope not for that amount of infoI've been told there's no press conference happening.
I just like to pretend that at any minute something huge is going to happen.i should hope not for that amount of info
Lol at the orange juice. That actually sold me enough to give this thread a try. eventually. It's interesting that there's that much coverage of US politics. What was that coverage like prior to 2017?our media is 90% orange man bad .they use it as a way to minimize what trudeau has been doing or not doing. most people could tell you all about everything that trump has done in the last 3 year but have no idea what the snc lavalian scandal is about. canadian cable tv in general is a mix of canadian and american channels. here we get cbc.global.and ctv but nbc,fox cbs,abc etc are washington state channels.plus in general canadian politics are usually super boring and nothing really ever happens.before trudeau started falling apart one of our biggest scandals was bev oda paying 14 dollars for a glass of orange juice on her expense account
it has really always been like that even back in the bush and obama years . it wasnt orange man bad style coverage but american content has always been a huge part of our news . the CRTC actually has a canadian content quota that makes sure that a certain percentage of our media stays canadian but the govt cut it from 55% to zero in the daytime and prime time is at 50%Lol at the orange juice. “KneeBLOCKED”I keep meaning to read this thread so I can know about what's going on, but then I realize I don't really care about you guys country. It mystifies me why so many of you care about mine. Any thoughts @Tom Terrific?
The Libs are doing better in the polls since the last time I cared to check (admittedly about a month ago)i cant wait til this election is over. it has been a retard shit show since before the writ was even dropped
it is possible to win majority with toronto ,vancouver and quebec .in all likelyhood there will be a minority govt one way or the other leading to either a coalition or a vote of nonconfidence and a new election withing 18 monthsThe Libs are doing better in the polls since the last time I cared to check (admittedly about a month ago)
The NDP is definitely trending higher than they were previously. Any chance of a coalition between them and the Liberals if the Libs fail to win a majority?i would question the polls saying the libs are leading by that much . i think jagmeet has done well enough to steal a lot of left wing voters away from the liberals and trudeau does not have the same celebrity status he had during the last election. a lot of the trudeau mania voters will stay home this time. legalization has by and large been a money loser and a flop .he will always have the liberal loyal but i think his base would be much lower after all the shit that has gone on in the last few years and over the last couple months. the polls are probably pretty close but more of a 3 way race between libs, ndp and cpc
the ndp has been backing up the libs in the house of commons for the last few years .it is also possible to form a coalition with the bloc if they win enough seats in quebec .there is a lot of bickering going on right now between ndp and green over if they are willing to form a coalition with anyone . they wont say until after the election because they would have to sell out their base on some issuesThe NDP is definitely trending higher than they were previously. Any chance of a coalition between them and the Liberals if the Libs fail to win a majority?

Liberal voters... don't underestimate their loyalty (or stupidity)im not really buying trudeau @ 33% he won the 2015 at the height of his popularity with 35% of the vote. there is no way he has retained almost all of his voters from last election.
he will always have that super cucked laurentian liberal voter but he has pissed off the wamens when they were his biggest fans last time. pissed off the indians and shit on them for the last 4 years.most of the youth vote will be rather apathetic this time around. the 2019 campaign has been anything but hip or cool. pissed off the entire prairie provinces . the maritimes still love him. he will get toronto and parts of vancouver and part of quebec. i am thinking the election map will be a lot more blue and orange than last timeLiberal voters... don't underestimate their loyalty (or stupidity)
