What is your absolute strength? I've been eating properly again for the last couple of weeks so I like learning more about nutrition, sport is a massive thing and always has been.

I was always in IT and absorbed the IT knowledge I was taught but blaah.

At 43 I'm never going to be Ronda so a career like that's never going to be it. I'm going to do a food hygiene etc course next week because I want that under my belt.

Aside from soaking up bits, bytes and being a sales person forever, I just don't know where my heart lies.

I'm a renaissance man, which has me in a lifelong standstill.
It's either rule the world, join the peace corp., or drink myself to death.

If she wakes up right now you have to take charge of her. You just took ownership

Self Teaching.

If you want to be sucessful, you either have to be in 99th percentile in something, or.... Be in the 90th percentile in 3 or more things that you can put together. I'm the latter and always trying to add more to that quiver of talents.

whats that course gonna do for your goal?

Keep your day job as an income generator.
Develop a hobby. Get awesome at your hobby. Consider if you would enjoy monetizing your hobby. Quit day job. Or don't. Maybe monetizing will destroy your hobby enjoyment.

I work my ass off to the point that people don't think I'm human...

And people like me.

But mostly, as long as I'm interested in something and can continue to learn and grow in a role then I'll be successful.

That said, I have a fear that I'm going to come up short on meeting this year's projections because I made some really lofty goals for my division.

My boss is still really pleased but I'm getting nervous and need some big shit to happen to reach that year end target. Then again, I'd rather shoot for an 80% gain and only hit 74% than to shoot for 50% and hit 70% because that means my goal setting was dog shit.

Shoot for the stars, so if you fall you land on a cloud.

Without blowing my own trumpet I’m really quite good in the kitchen. A lot of places here require you to have certifications to even be a sous chef. I figured if I get all of that sorted at not a huge cost, then I will hopefully have the upper hand over other people interviewing.
