Casting for the Ultimate Fighter Season 27

Yesterday, Shawn Bitter of MMA Today reported that TUF 27 will feature male lightweights and featherweights, which is interesting since the two weight classes are only ten pounds apart, and contestants in either weight class could potentially end up fighting each other in the post-TUF future.

It's never really a 'tryout', they usually reach out to guys on their radar. The old days of submitting a video and fight resume are long gone. They'll also go to the major team gyms and ask who they have in a specific weight class they're interested in featuring.
