No way I'm wasting my time watching that video of Fhael, but I will say that the translation is that Chael knows that hardcore fans see and speak of him as the good fighter but fraud of a fighter he is, with cheesy antics, and we don't hate him but we see the bullshit, and he wants to discredit the hardcores to pour more bullshit to get bites from casuals.

Every time a GOAT discussion comes up, it constantly gets shit-spammed by a small group of "hardcore" fans claiming that Fedor somehow deserves to be on the list.

Yes he can be annoying but he's good at keeping himself relevant and I agree with him on this, I do like the cut of his jib. Nice shirt too.
He is very knowledgeable, but I just hate when he outright lies & makes up stories on his podcast.
If he just stuck to an honest look at all things MMA, he can be brilliant.
He has a great mind & see's both the fighter & promoter side of things & calls it fairly.
yep, if chael never spoke of chael he would be one of the best, he plays many angles and most are funny and insightful

It made me realize if Chael can completely lie to a WWE guy about his boss, he can lie about things not as easily proven incorrect

I didn't used to like him at all, I thought he was an idiot but I saw a really genuine nice side to him after the Bisping fight abd changed my mind. It's just a shtick in a similar way to Conor's bravado. Chael's not the greatest fighter but he knows how to talk up a good fight.
He's not wrong. It's just that no business model can survive catering to ONLY the most ardent fans. All the profit comes from casual fans.
It's like when PRIDE kept bringing in crappy Pro Wrestlers for real NHB/MMA fights. It was a shit show for sure, but it got them viewers and asses in seats. And when PRIDE kept putting undeserving Japanese fighters up against then MW Champ Wanderlei Silva.
I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now. But it's something I have to accept if I want to see the fights I actually want to see as crap like this will fund the good fights.

That is just retarded. If Vince bought it and folded it than someone else would start it up again. I’m sure Vince would’ve had it written in the sale that the Fertittas couldn’t do it.

Or depending on when this made up shit happened then Strikeforce, Bellator, EliteXC or some other org would become the UFC.
