The crew had clubs? lol!

Could you imagine if that was a US CG vessel? It probably would have sank every Chinese vessel within 10 miles just to be sure it was safe.

I remember a few years back my wife and I were staying at Apulit island in the Philippines and going out to the island we needed armed security because of "pirates" as they called them. That was probably their polite way of saying "chinamen" Also remember seeing a huge Coast guard type ship as we were heading out.

That's great. That doesn't change the fact that Philippines is merely a US puppet who just does the deep state bidding in the region, just like Ukraine is/does

If memory serves, they invaded Malaysia a few years ago trying to create their own caliphate. Neither Malaysia or the Philippines were too happy.

Losing the 60 Minutes crew would not be a bad thing.

These confrontations between China and the Philippines are happening all the time lately, best not get in the way of that.

They do hate them but China can outproduce them many times over. Nothing comes close to matching Chinese industrial capacity.

India would give china problems too they had a border dispute in 2022. Chinas enemies are adding up.

Industrial surge capacity is what wins wars, just look at the US experience in WW2. Russia will supply them with natural resources and high tech weapons as well.

But let's hope it doesn't come to another war. We have wars boiling over everywhere as it is. The Philippines changes it's government and this simmers down right away. They're going to be used as a meat hammer against China a la Ukraine against Russia. China has hypersonic glide vehicle technology and a shitload of nuclear warheads to outfit them with. This ia a very dumb idea for the Philippines imvho.

Any nation going to war with China and Russia are going to drag the Americans into it. That's the modus operandi of the weaker nations like the UK.
