NO WAY! ME TOOO!Toyota Tacoma
08 off road, planning to run it into the ground. Looked at the 16's when they came out, but the 3.5 really does nothing for me.NO WAY! ME TOOO!
What kind of Taco you rocking?
I wish I bought a 15. I have an 18 SR5 4wd with bilstein 6112's in the front and the 5160s in the rear. The 3.5 isn't bad, the stock programming of the transmission isn't the greatest, but it's never let me down. I have it tuned now, it runs pretty good, but there's a new version out I need to try.08 off road, planning to run it into the ground. It's the torques when you're leaving a stop light that it blows dicks.I wish I bought a 15. I have an 18 SR5 4wd with bilstein 6112's in the front and the 5160s in the rear. Yea, so Toyota kind of took care of that with a tune update themselves, but the big problem is the gearing, it sucks. The tune update from Toyota for 16-18 Tacomas added something like 30-50 ft lbs in the lower end of the power curve, verified via dyno. Regardless the gearing is still dogshit. It's the torques when you're leaving a stop light that it blows dicks.
I'm running bilstein 5100's with the fronts on the middle perch as to accomodate my 265/75/16 KO2's withouth having to take my mudflaps off.
