This really sums up Florida
Between Jacksonville and Orlando I’ve never witnessed a dumber population.

example
On Sunday I asked why the hotel bar and grill was closed.
The answer was “we’re only open on the weekends “

Yeah try and figure that out
in FL, the 'weekend' is the time between when the gov't check arrives and the time all your money is spent.

Got a gun and given every chance. I don't see a problem.
without commenting on the original altercation and who instigated or escalated it, the officers that arrived first showed AMAZING restraint.
I probably would not have that level of restraint in that situation.

Whenever the cops tried going in there, a mob came after them. Fire & Rescue are not sent in unless the cops verify it is safe to do so which is standard procedure throughout the city. Also, CHOP had its own medics and vehicles for transport to the hospital or outside the zone to where SFD was staged. They also had an agreement with SFD that they would handle injuries within the zone and work with SFD or handle the transport themselves so SPD wouldn't be sent it. If SFD would have left the staging area, it would have been possible the CHOP medics/transport would have showed up with the guy looking for them when they weren't there.

And the purpose of the lawsuit isn't to "flush out the truth". It's to get paid.

It's sad for the mother that her son died, but he chose to go to a dangerous place. Rule of thumb: "Don't go to stupid places at stupid times with stupid people to do stupid things, and you'll generally be fine".

Well they and their organizations keep killing people they shouldn't, so why would people want them around?
Nearly all of them are not killing people. Some of them are shitheads, some of them make mistakes in the heat of the moment, and some of them haven't been trained properly. The first group should be replaced, the second and third some be given more training. If they don't improve, they should be replaced as well.

I think my big problem is the blue wall, if they aren't speaking up about the fucked up cops, fuck em.

that hits close to home. An acquaintance who I consider literally The Best Cop unfriended me on FB, I assume for stuff I posted re: police accountability.
